Levelling a Rare from 1 to 40

So, i thought I should check the time it takes me to recruit enough fighters to level a Rare from 1 to 40.

Apparently, that is about one and a half day, fighting only in mono-element zones. Consequently, it will take me between two and three weeks to fully max a Rare (8-fighter).

Is this about average, or is someone doing significantly better?

Since I haven't lvled any R fighter until now I can only compare it to UC's: You need exactly 60 commons of the same element to get to 30. I level two fighters to 30 a day if everything go smooth, so it does sound quite average, that you need a day for a R to get to 40.

I TAKE IT THAT IT IS 60 LVL1 COMMONS, RIGHT. BUT WHAT IF YOU USE HIGHER LVL COMMONS? ie YOU TAKE 9 FOR THE SOME COMMON AND MAKE A LVL 9

Where you farm really does play a factor...

For example (for me at least), when farming Earth fighters, if I farm from Earth Temple level 1, I average about 3-3.5 fighters per run (sometimes I'll get as many as five fighters from one run, out of the max of 7). It's only 36 energy per run through that particular level, so I can do a run of the level literally every 12 minutes. Do the math on that, and I can max out a Rare once per day. So, I'd be able to create a max 8-fighter Rare in just over two weeks.

The trick is, finding which area, for each element, drops best for you. Just because I got lucky and got that map as a high drop rate, doesn't mean that everyone else will as well. For Earth (for example), you might be really lucky and have an 80% recruit rate on one of the maps in the Slums... That would actually be really, really fast, if you take into account how little energy you spend to do a run there.

Feeding lvl 1 commons direct gives always the highest amount of experience for lvling your fighters.

Edit: Awww man, just noticed, that one could make a 4-fighter R in the same time as a 8-fighter UC. I really should getting started feeding those R's...
