How does the second element on a fighter work?

Some fighters have more than one element, how does this get activated and what are the benefits/disadvantages of having two elements?

'Final Form Elements' are their name, they are activated when your fighter reaches it's 'Final Form', i.e. a Super Rare fused all the way until it turns into an Ultra Rare, then the second element will be activated. I think that it also is activated when the fighter reaches it's maximum level, but that needs confirmation. Benefits of having 2 elements are that you will do extra damage to 2 elements instead of one, disadvantages are that other fighters will have twice the elements to counter you with. I don't think it's really a benefit/disadvantage thing, more just the type of fighter and aesthetic really. =]

A fighter does not get its second element activated by leveling it to max level (confirmed with currently lvl 40 R+ experiment 003).

My Manos R++ has two elements. He does + damage against two things (Lightning and Water, since he is Eath/Lightning). He takes increased damage from Shadow but not Earth.

Extra damage is easily spottable because the damage done will be in yellow digits rather then white. Also, I suspect that the extra damage is 50% of normal damage, just like using a special attack.

I have two UC fighters at R. Non of those has a second element. So not all fighters have a second element.

Edit: I suspect that you get "bonus" when training from both the original element and the final form element. But this is not confirmed.
